Below are a collection of websites that were designed to either showcase work,

share information, or facilitate a learning experience. A brief description of each is posted under the screenshot. A link to the respective website is also provided.

WEB 2.0 TOOLS

 

The links underneath this text are examples tools that utilize the collaborative

components of web 2.0 tools. The slideshow will direct you to hosting websites

that host various interactive projects. Further below are embeded projects

that encourage interaction and exploration. The description of there purpose is provided

along side of them.

Google Calendar: Used to help coaches, parents, and players stay organized throughout the summer months.
Glogster: Created in CEP 812 to help showcase how I plan to further my development in education through technology and the impact I believe it would have.
Prezi: Created in CEP 812 to help in the process of narrating my Wicked Problem Project. This project was focused on tackling a larger educational issue within our school and using technology as a way to resolve the issue at hand.
Twitter and Scribd: The Twitter account below is what I use to keep updates on scores, game changes, and exciting Northport Athletics news. The Scribd account was created to help share important information for the courses I teach, such as rules for competitive activities.
 

The videos below are projects created as part of a dialogue in a CEP class or used in

my own teaching as an instructional aid. Various tools were used to create

the producations are are listed in the video description.

work I created as reflection of my learning in the CEP courses or an application

of the ideas presented in an authentic context. (As a side note, I teach

English communications in addition to Physical Education and Athletic Director)

This page is designed to serve as an exhibit of the various ways I have utilized technology to

grow as a learner or facilitate learning in my classroom. The page serves as the capstone to

my experience as a Masters of Arts in Educational Technology student through Michigan State University. The exhibits are broken into four categories: Websites, Web 2.0 Tools, Videos, and Documents.
